Product Overview

The CRESTA ZS-50 Plus is an advanced research microscope designed for educational, routine research, pharmaceutical, clinical research and quality-control applications. Its single-mould rigid structure incorporates a window in the arm for convenient handling and carriage.

The microscope uses Plan Achromatic objectives with a WF 10X/20 mm eyepiece, providing a magnification range of 40X–1000X. The specified objective set comprises 4X, 10X, 40X S/L and 100X S/L objectives.

The Siedentopf-type head is inclined at 30° and rotatable through 360°. A reversed inward quadruple ball-bearing nosepiece provides positive click-stop positioning of objectives. Coaxial coarse and fine focusing is graduated to 0.002 mm, while the ball-bearing-driven mechanical stage enables X-Y movement of slides.

The microscope incorporates a movable Abbe condenser with NA 1.25, iris diaphragm and swing-out filter holder. Built-in LED illumination with intensity control and an inbuilt battery backup facility provides adjustable illumination for laboratory observation and research work.
