The Cresta ZS-50i FL Inverted Fluorescence Microscope combines an inverted research microscope platform with 100W DC mercury fluorescence illumination, dual fluorescence filter sets and a trinocular imaging head. It is designed for fluorescence, brightfield and phase-contrast microscopy, including live-cell and cell-culture applications.
Product Overview
The Cresta ZS-50i FL is an inverted fluorescence microscope built on the Cresta ZS-50i platform. It combines a rigid microscope structure, Siedentopf trinocular head, precision coaxial focusing, mechanical X-Y stage and built-in transmitted LED illumination with a dedicated reflected-light fluorescence module.
The fluorescence module uses a 100W DC mercury lamp house and includes blue and green fluorescence filter sets. The blue filter set has 450–490 nm excitation, a 510 nm dichroic mirror and 520 nm emission barrier, while the green filter set has 480–550 nm excitation, a 570 nm dichroic mirror and 590 nm emission barrier.
The trinocular head splits the optical path between the eyepieces and camera port and is specified as compatible with a wide range of C-mount cameras. A UV protection barrier is included for fluorescence operation.
The inverted configuration is particularly suited to specimens in culture vessels and supports applications such as live-cell fluorescence imaging, immunofluorescence, FISH and fluorescence-based cell assays.
