The INV-3I Inverted Microscope is designed for observing living cells and specimens directly in culture vessels such as flasks, Petri dishes and multi-well plates. It combines an infinity optical system, 30° inclined trinocular head, quintuple nosepiece, long-working-distance objectives, phase-contrast capability and an attachable mechanical X-Y stage.
Product Overview
The INV-3I Inverted Microscope is designed for routine cell observation, tissue culture and advanced laboratory microscopy where specimens need to be examined directly inside culture vessels. Its inverted configuration positions the objectives below the specimen, making it suitable for applications where conventional slide preparation is impractical.
The microscope features an infinity optical system and a 30° inclined trinocular head with interpupillary adjustment from 48–75 mm. The quintuple nosepiece accommodates multiple objectives, including long-working-distance and phase-contrast objectives.
An ELWD condenser with NA 0.3 and 72 mm working distance provides illumination through culture vessels. Removing the condenser provides approximately 150 mm of free space, allowing larger vessels to be accommodated.
The microscope includes a fixed 10X–20X phase annulus plate for phase-contrast observation. Its attachable mechanical stage provides 120 × 78 mm X-Y movement, while coaxial coarse and fine focusing provides controlled specimen focusing with 0.002 mm fine graduation.
The optical combination includes an EW10X/22 extra-wide-field eyepiece, LWD Infinity Plan 4X and 40X objectives, and Infinity Plan Phase 10X and 20X objectives. A 6V/30W halogen illumination system with blue, green and ground-glass filters completes the standard configuration.
