The DM-II Dissecting Microscope is a compact optical instrument designed for fine dissection, specimen examination, biological studies and educational laboratory work. It features a stable 120 mm round base, 180° revolving arm, brass rack-and-pinion focusing, detachable hand rests, plano-concave mirror illumination and an 80 mm optical-grade Bull Eye Lens.

Product Overview

The MODEL DM-II Dissecting Microscope is designed for detailed observation and fine dissection of small biological specimens. Its stable round base provides a low centre of gravity, while the joint revolving arm allows the magnifying lens to move across the stage for scanning a larger specimen area without repeatedly repositioning the specimen.

The microscope uses a brass rack-and-pinion focusing mechanism for controlled focus adjustment. Detachable hand rests are provided on both sides of the stage to support the user's hands during fine dissection work.

Illumination is provided by a 50 mm plano-concave mirror in a fork mount, together with an 80 mm Bull Eye Lens made from optical-grade glass for concentrating light from an external source.

The DM-II is supplied with 10X and 15X eyepieces, offering flexible magnification for specimen observation. Its chemical-resistant stipple grey finish is intended for routine laboratory environments.
