Product Overview

The CRESTA XS-50 is a versatile laboratory microscope designed for scientific research, professional laboratory work, clinical microscopy and advanced educational applications. Its rigid single-mould structure incorporates a window in the arm for convenient carriage and provides a stable platform for microscopy.

The viewing head is available in monocular, binocular and trinocular configurations, with a sliding-type 45° inclined head rotatable through 360°. The coaxial coarse and fine focusing mechanism provides controlled focusing, with fine focusing graduated to 1 division = 0.002 mm.

For specimen positioning, the microscope uses a ball-bearing driven mechanical stage for X-Y movement. A quadruple ball-bearing nosepiece with positive click stops enables convenient objective selection. The movable Abbe condenser with NA 1.25, iris diaphragm and swing-out filter holder provides control over specimen illumination.

The optical system includes WF 10X/18 mm eyepieces and 4X, 10X, 40X S/L and 100X S/L semi-plan achromatic objectives, providing 40X–1000X magnification. The optical components are specified as anti-fungal and bloomed coated for longer service life.

Built-in LED illumination with intensity control provides adjustable lighting for different specimens and observation conditions.
