The ZSM-1 Zoom Stereo Microscope is designed for applications where continuous magnification adjustment, comfortable binocular viewing and flexible illumination are required.

Its 1:6.4 zoom ratio provides continuous magnification from 7X to 45X with the supplied WF20X paired eyepieces, allowing the operator to adjust magnification without changing objectives.

The 45° inclined viewing head can rotate through 360° and provides 55–75 mm interpupillary adjustment. A standard 100 mm working distance provides useful space for specimen manipulation. Optional auxiliary lenses can alter the working distance within the specified 30–165 mm range.

The microscope incorporates both transmitted and reflected LED illumination, making it suitable for transparent, translucent and opaque specimens. The base includes interchangeable black/white glass and frosted glass plates for different specimen-contrast requirements.

A trinocular viewing-head option is available for camera attachment and digital documentation.
